The Last Ranger is a SPFBO Finalist!

Back in July, I submitted The Last Ranger to the SPFBO contest back in July.

Well today, I bring fair tidings about it...

The Last Ranger made it to the finals!

My books have become semifinalists in previous contests, but "finalist" is an honor I wasn't sure I'd ever get. When there are 300 books submitted, getting to the final 10 are slim odds, indeed.

Needless to say, I'm overjoyed The Last Ranger made it through!

Moreover, one judge on the team that chose me (Fantasy Book Critic, an excellent blog) had this to say about the book:

"The Last Ranger is one of those epic fantasy books that filled me with wonder and reminded me of why I fell in love with this genre in the first place."
