I have a new Biggest Book Ever!

My wife (finally) finished reading The Hidden Guardian!

What's more, it's her favorite book in the series!

I can't tell you how relieved I was to hear her response. I've put a lot into this one both work and emotional effort. There are parts of it where I tear up pretty much every time I go over them. And there are other parts that peel back the world of Unera and reveal secrets I've been waiting all series to share.

I can only hope you enjoy it as well when it comes time to be released!

But a fair amount of work remains ahead of me. It took three solid hours for Kaitlyn to give me all her notes! Other than a few niggling errors, they entailed spots where she wanted a bit more... which, you guessed it, involves plenty more writing.

But there's a silver lining to it all…

With all the additions, The Hidden Guardian has become my biggest book ever!

Right now, it's sitting around 630 pages. I'm guessing it'll expand to 650 by the time we're through.

That eked it just past A God's Plea, the final Legend of Tal book, which previously held the title!

Even with that bulk, we're nearing a complete state for it. Just these edits, my last complete read-through, then the editor and proofreader mostly handle the rest! It won't be much longer now.
